Car Park & Perimeter Security by BID Group Ltd

If you own a business that has a car park, either for private or commercial use, you will need a high level of security in order to keep vehicles secure and protected against theft.

In this guide, we’re going to be looking at some top tips on how to keep your car park perimeter secure and how BID Group can help.

How to Keep Your Car Park Secure

Prevent Unauthorised Parking

One of the biggest issues many business car parks face is unauthorised parking. This can lead to a number of problems, such as the unavailability of spaces for those who do need to park there and a loss of earnings for those who haven’t paid on paid car parks.

Fortunately, BID Group Ltd offers a simple solution. With our robust gates and barriers, you can ensure only those who are authorised can gain access to and exit the car park.

Reduce Vehicle Theft

An unmonitored car park can be a prime target for criminals looking to steal or break into a vehicle. When car parks have no perimeter security to prevent unauthorised access, vehicles in the car park are left vulnerable to theft.

However, with a security system in place such as BID Group’s secure gates and barriers, you can help prevent theft and protect your employee and customer vehicles.

CCTV

Installing CCTV in conjunction with perimeter security  can help identify any criminal activity and the perpetrator of the crime. For this reason alone, CCTV can act as a significant deterrent. This also increases the likelihood of recovering a stolen vehicle, should they surpass other security measures.

Studies have found that using CCTV in car parks resulted in a 51% decrease in crime.

This could also help to lower your business insurance costs as premiums are more likely to be lower if your premises are more secured against theft.

BID Group Ltd Sliding Gates

Sliding gates are a reliable, low maintenance option for high use areas. These work especially well for large industrial sites.

Sliding gates in either cantilever or tracked versions can accommodate spans of up to 10 metres, allowing even the largest of vehicles to enter and exit.

All of our gates are delivered on a vehicle equipped with a crane, fully assembled and ready to bolt down in order to meet our “plug & play” ethos. This minimises disruption on site and ensures a smooth, quick and easy installation.

BID Group Ltd Swing Gates

BID Group Ltd’s swing gates are a practical solution for perimeter security on both commercial and industrial sites. These suit openings of up to 10 metres in double leaf configuration.

Our swing gates can be supplied with either underground or face fixed ‘Ram’ type operators.

BID Group Ltd Barriers

BID’S Automatic traffic barrier is designed to offer long-term reliability, efficient operation and durability. They incorporate an integral three-phase inverter driven motor and gearbox providing a smooth consistent operation.
